for my wonderful moms
Dear my wonderful moms,
Happy Mother's Day! I love you both so much and am so thankful to have you in my life and by my side. You have been the most supportive parents I could ever asked for, and have allowed me to grow throughout all the struggles and successes of my life.
It was so amazing to look through all the old photos and see how much you did to allow me to see the country and the world through all our trips and connect with Grandma and Papou nearly every year even when we lived in the City. To see how much joy there has been throughout all of our lives, from all of the amazing family friends and community you have introduced me to in Bernal and wherever we are in the world.
I appreciate you so much for guiding me through both my toughest times and happiest moments, and for always listening to what is going on in my life or what silly joke I have to tell. I am so grateful to both of you for always being supportive of whatever I am interested in, trying to understand it yourselves, from viola to soccer to planning. I hope that as I get older I can continue to learn about and support your passions too.
But most of all, I know that no matter what happens, I can count on you at every moment, and that is the most I could ever ask for.
I love you so much, forever & always,
Daniel
P.S. I hope you enjoy the gift. This was one of our reading options for class and I have enjoyed it so far, though it is definitely more of an entry level book, the psychology part is interesting. I especially encourage Sal to give it a read, or regift to a friend who is not as clued in and I will pick up another book for you two :)
